Session 1: 10 - 10:30 am ET with Jerry Swiatek "Google Tools: An Intro for Educators"  

Maybe you've heard about Google tools, but don't know what all the excitement is about, or maybe you've begun exploring Google tools and want to learn what other great tools Google might have. In this intro to Google tools, Jerry Swiatek will explore various Google tools that would make terrific additions to your digital toolkit. He will include a discussion of Google Drive, as well as various other Google Apps and Extensions that are great for educators. In addition, Jerry will provide a brief explanation of Google Classroom and Google for Education, along with the benefits of each.

Session 2: 11 - 11:30 am ET with Matt Bergman "Amazing Digital Projects for All Students with Google Tools"  

It has been said that a good picture is worth a thousand words - and students of all ages can use pictures to develop and convey what they know. Google Apps, Extensions, and Add-ons are amazing tools that students of all ages can use to create digital projects that allow them to demonstrate knowledge and express themselves. Join Matt Bergman as he shares how you can combine the power of Google, images, and videos to develop powerful learning experiences for all students. In addition to discussing the tools, Matt will share examples of how they can be used in the classroom.

Session 3: 12 - 12:30 pm ET with Tanya Avrith "Demonstrate Learning and Make Thinking Visible in a Google Infused Classroom"  

Would you like for your students to be able to create artifacts of learning that truly make their thinking visible and amplify their voices? Would you like to take their learning beyond rote worksheets? In this webinar, join Tanya Avrith as she explores some of the top Google tools that can help students create meaningful learning opportunities. In addition to discussing various tools, she will provide practical curricular and pedagogical tips and strategies that are aligned with 21st century literacies. Come discover some great ways your students can use Google tools to demonstrate their learning in meaningful ways for authentic audiences.

Session 4: 1 - 1:30 pm ET with Shelly Sanchez-Terrell "Chrome Extensions to Support Struggling Students"  

Did you know that the Google Chrome browser has the power to help all learners read, write, and learn better? And this is especially true for struggling students. Join Shelly Sanchez Terrell as she introduces you to various Chrome extensions that help struggling students find the assistance they need. She will cover a number of free Chrome extensions that can assist in translating any site, read aloud any site, annotate any site, and much more. Shelly will also share how students can use these extensions to easily conduct research and cite sources appropriately.
