Would you like to engage students and enhance learning with a variety of activities and experiments that can be used across curriculum? Join Deb Norton as she explores some of the newest activities and experiments from Google. In addition to showing how to access and find them, she will discuss how these ready-made, innovative Google activities can be incorporated into your lessons or projects in a variety of subjects. Deb will explore a range of activities, including some that use your voice, actions, or drawings in games and storytelling. She will also show how you and your students can learn about concepts such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and augmented reality in simple, creative ways.
Session 2: 11 - 11:30 am ET or 3 - 3:30 pm ET with Letia Cooper "Connect, Create, and Collaborate with STEAM Websites, Web Tools, and Apps"
Would you like to discover ways for your students to connect, create, and collaborate as they investigate and explore a variety of scientific ideas, models, and concepts! Are you looking for new ways to jazz up your STEAM curriculum? This webinar will focus on a variety of interactive websites, web tools and apps that will enhance learning! Join Letia Cooper as she shares examples of how to use these tools and discusses easy ways to integrate technology into classrooms for all grade levels.
Session 3: 12 - 12:30 pm ET or 4 - 4:30 pm ET with Jerry Swiatek "Integrate Coding Across All Subjects: It's Easier than You Think"
With our increasing dependence on technology and the exponential growth of jobs in technology fields, it becomes more and more essential that our students learn to code. Not only can coding teach problem-solving and analytical skills, it can also help students develop their creative and collaborative abilities – all valuable skills that will help them succeed academically and in their later careers. Coding no longer needs to be relegated solely to computer classes. Join Jerry Swiatek as he explores how you can incorporate and teach coding across all subjects. He will provide a variety of easy-to-use resources, as well as examples of how you can use them to engage your student in a variety of subjects. Best of all, you will discover that teaching coding is easier than you might think!
